The
Merrimack Company was started in 2002, and was
officially incorporated as a Limited Liability
Corporation in March of 2003. The company was
founded by cousins Justin Bishop and James Wessel, with
a purpose of offering affordable websites to local small
businesses. After our third year of business, The
Merrimack Company expanded our operation to further meet
the needs of our clients, including the addition of
marketing services and promotional ad specialty
merchandise. In April of 2006, Justin Bishop
acquired all of the shares on the company, and now
operates in Florence, Alabama.

Justin was born in Huntsville and has lived in
Florence since 1990. Justin attended
Bradshaw High School and graduated from the
University of North Alabama with a degree in
Business Administration. He is a member of
Underwood Baptist Church and is currently
engaged to be married. Justin serves as a
volunteer firefighter and EMT with the
Underwood-Petersville Volunteer Fire Department.

Matt was born and raised in Florence and is a
graduate of Bradshaw High School. He is
currently completing his undergraduate degree in
History and Computer Science at the University
of North Alabama. Since early 2006, Matt
has been working with Merrimack developing
online database systems and other advanced
programming. He is a member of Highland
Baptist Church. |
